The consequences of alternative energy renovation solutions are predicted with information from a database with Big Data is based on the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's database with Energy Declarations, Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The method will be validated by comparing collected data from actual single-family buildings with predictions generated with the methodology.

Tasks
The work consists of supporting the stakeholders' involvement in the process towards sustainable energy renovation for single-family buildings, in collaboration with the research group for energy efficiency;

  • extract and synchronize multiple heterogeneous data sources into a single database;
  • develop an open-access platform for calculating energy savings for renovation measures adapted to the specific building technology;
