We seek one project assistant to work with invasive plant species removal (e.g. Lupine) and communication, at the Department of Ecology, Environment and Geoscience in Umeå. This is an intermittent employment, from 1 November 2025 to 30 September 2026. The application deadline is 2025-10-05.
Job Duties
The project assistant will participate in research, administrative, and communicative activities related to removal of invasive plant species, in specific Lupine. This work will include administrative work tasks, data handling and communication, as part of a team.

Qualifications
We are looking for an applicant with at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. ecology, environmental science, communication science) and with good communication skills. It is required to be fluent in Swedish. It is considered a merit if you have experience from interdisciplinary work.
Intermittent employment
An intermittent employment means that you can be offered scheduled employment occasions during a frame period of 12 months max, and for this specific employment the frame period is 11 months. The employment occasions are time limited in accordance with LAS 5§ 1p. To be available this way means that you can accept or decline each employment occasion that you are offered and that a new employment enters each time you work. This practically means that you have an hourly employment.
