Umeå Institute of Design (UID) is now looking for a Project Assistant who will belong to a small team that connects research and education, health and food.
Work tasks
The project assistant will contribute to the design, delivery and analysis of experimental design research methods in educational and clinical settings. The work also involve project work and reporting.
Qualifications
Competence requirements:
- Completed Master's degree in Design Research
- Knowledge in Office-programs
- English in speech and writing
It is meritorious with:
- Experience in developing goal-oriented participatory design research methods, especially workshops
- Experience in pedagogy in design
- Experience of research with and through food
- Experience in research writing
- Experience of externally funded research projects, including creating and leading events
- Knowledge in Adobe CC or Similar programs
We are looking for someone who is independent and good at taking initiative. We want you to have a proven ability to collaborate in diversed teams. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Type of employment: Special fixed-term employment for 12 months. 50% employment rate.
