We are now looking for a research engineer in energy technology with a focus on energy efficiency in buildings. The employment is full-time and is time-limited to 5 months, entry 2023-01-01 or as agreed. The application deadline is 2022-11-25.
Project description
Energy-efficient technical measures are not a guarantee for efficient energy use in buildings, the fact is that energy-related resident behaviors also have a significant impact on the building's energy performance. There is much evidence that significant energy savings can be achieved with resident-centred energy efficiency. The project will explore how built environments should be more interactive and user-centered, such as discovering relationships between built properties and user behavior, which has implications for the building's design, operation and renovation.
Job duties
The purpose of the employment is to investigate how data analysis together with machine learning can be used to evaluate opportunities for energy savings and emission reduction of retrofitting measures during renovations of various scopes.
