The Faculty of Medicine, which consists of 13 departments, is responsible for biomedical research and courses in the field of nursing and health care and has an extensive research and graduate education in more than 80 subjects.

Are you eager for new challenges in an exciting interdisciplinary department with transnational collaborations for better public health that makes a difference in society? Then you are the right person for us!

We are now looking for a project coordinator with focus on EU projects at the Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine.

Tasks

Your role is to be a link between the university and Region Västerbotten's unit Livsmedicin, you will be responsible for coordinating the research group's EU project report together with financial coordinators at the university.

You will act as a support to Livsmedicin's activities in research and innovation issues, with a focus on international collaborations and EU projects. This means, among other things, that you will assist researchers in various aspects of research and innovation projects, communicating with national and international partners and communicating between companies and research linked to our test bed operations. You will work with documentation and follow-up of applications and drawing up agreements in consultation with the university lawyers. We are looking for someone with experience of working with follow-up and project management of EU projects.

The role involves broad contact areas both internally and externally with financiers, authorities and other higher education institutions nationally and internationally. Sensitivity, ability to collaborate, independence and willingness to take responsibility are important prerequisites.

Qualifications

You have a relevant university education or equivalent competence acquired through experience. You are used to independent administrative work in externally funded projects.

To succeed in the role, you need to have initiative, good planning skills and be able to collect and process information. You are accurate and have good communication skills, and the ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.

Experience of working with government accounting, preferably from a university or college, is an advantage.

You have a service-oriented approach, are easy to work with and are a structured and thorough person. You want to inspire and be inspired by others, you are keen to be part of our future development and have an interest in diversity issues and an open work culture.
