  • collaboration with the surrounding society

The degree of scientific skill will primarily be assessed on the basis of the ability to plan and lead research and education at research level.

Particular emphasis will be placed on independent research efforts in molecular physiology with a focus on animal and cell models to understand cellular and molecular processes that control metabolic states and functions of organs and organisms, as well as the timeliness, quality and originality of scientific research efforts.

Great emphasis is placed on scientific work published in internationally reputable scientific journals, in which the applicant has played a prominent role, as well as the ability to successfully compete for external research funding.
