Assessment criteria in the selection comprise the degree of research and educational expertise where they are assigned equal importance in the assessment.

In the assessment of research expertise, particular importance is placed on the ability to conduct and publish high-quality research and the ability to contribute to research development in the subject area of social work.

In the assessment of the educational expertise, particular importance is placed on documented experience and evaluation of teaching in the subject area of social work, educational development in the scope of educational programmes and courses, supervision and examination in first- and second-cycle education, work as a doctoral supervisor and educational leadership.

A useful qualification for the position is the completion of a course in teaching and learning in higher education or the equivalent. If equivalent qualifications are cited, they must be presented and confirmed.
