The Faculty of Medicine, which consists of 13 departments, is responsible for biomedical research and courses in the field of nursing and health care and has an extensive research and graduate education in more than 80 subjects.

The Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine, unit of Sustainable Health is seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled and innovative full stack developer to contribute to a fast-paced Medtech engineering project in connected health. You’ll be working in agile development teams in an energetic environment. In this role, you will be adding features and functionality in addition to supporting public health applications. 

Key Responsibilities:
Collaboratively working to deliver high-quality cross-platform products in an Agile development environment.
Execute on all aspects of software engineering, including testing, debugging, documentation, optimization and integration.
Ensuring our designs are simple and effective, backed up by testing to accelerate ease of use and future maintenance of our technology.
Working with leaders, senior team members, and ​focus groups to understand customer needs and delivering incrementally on their highest priority features and requirements.
Provide solid estimates for new, un-scoped work.
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or greater in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
Expert of more than one objective programming language. Knowledge of Android SDK and Swift. Knowledge of Angular or React. Knowledge of CSS and JS. Knowledge of database concepts and SQL. Knowledge of source code management tools.
Strong focus on software quality, performance and testability.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members on a common code base.
Great communication skills, to be able to work with co-located and remote colleagues and to be able to communicate progress and results and participate effectively in technical project discussions.
Willingness to learn and achieve mastery in multiple domains outside of primary area of expertise.
 
Bonus Qualifications
Experience in Agile software development, preferably Scrum.
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies and concepts. Algorithmic problem-solving skills. Data-driven design, and architecture skills. Expertise at profiling and optimization. Multithreaded programming and debugging experience. Real-time computer graphics knowledge. Able to communicate in Swedish.​
